Kundalini

The term Kundalini is used to refer to the vital force or creator energy that we all hold within us. It comes from the area of our 8 seed cells which were the first 8 cells that were created after conception and that stay with us for life and hold the life codes for the human body. Often called the “sleeping goddess” or “serpent”, it is represented as a serpent coiled 3 times around the first chakra or root chakra at the base of the spine. In the *Adam and Eve story the serpent on the Tree of Life represents the kundalini energy, the Tree of Life representing our spine and the energy centres along it and the red apple which Adam eats from represents the base chakra. When our Kundalini is activated also referred to as Shakti (divine feminine), she travels upwards through the energy centres and unites at our crown with Shiva (divine masculine) to realise divine wisdom. The western Bible story is an allegory, it shows a path to awakening that can be achieved through working not only with the Kundalini energy but also by awakening our energy centres (chakras). In the story Adam and Eve suddenly realise they are naked, or in other words they are suddenly self-aware and “awakened”. They leave the “Garden of Eden” or Heaven to become fully awakened humans in physical bodies having a conscious mind. The story is a simplified version of how the human race homo sapiens (sapiens is a Latin word meaning wisdom/ one who knows) came into being.
