Shri Chakra Pooja is considered as the highest form of Devi worship.
It is one of the most powerful and sacred Tantric rituals in the Shri Vidya tradition, dedicated to Goddess Lalitha Tripurasundari — the supreme form of Shakti representing the union of divine energy and consciousness.
It is said that performing Sri Chakra Pooja is equivalent to worshipping all forms of Devi.
Meaning of Shri Chakra
The Shri Chakra is a geometric representation of the Cosmic Energy (Shakthi).
It consists of nine interlocking triangles:
Four pointing upward – symbolizing Shiva (Purusha)
Five pointing downward – symbolizing Shakti (Prakṛathi)
Together, they form 43 smaller triangles, representing the Universe and the human body.
At the center lies the Bindu, representing the ultimate union with the Divine Mother.
The Shri Chakra is not just a symbol; it is the blueprint of the universe and the map of human consciousness.
Benefits
Performing Shri Chakra Pooja helps:
Bring abundant prosperity, success and peace in all aspects of life
Remove obstacles, karmic blocks, and negative energies
Strengthen spiritual progress through the path of Shri Vidya Upasana
Balance the five elements and chakras within the body
Bring harmony between material and spiritual energies
We believe that through every offering, mantra, and vibration created during this sacred pooja, the entire space is infused with the blessings of the Devi, bringing harmony, abundance, and inner transformation.
Spiritual Significance
The ritual symbolizes the journey from the outer physical world (bhuloka) → to the inner realms (antar-loka) → and finally to union with the Divine Consciousness.
It takes a long time Upasana to perform a Shri Chakra pooja. It can be learned from a book but to get into the core of the kriya, the Sadhak or priest has to be in spiritual plane which becomes the Devi herself. Just like any geometrical diagrams, a small error in Shri Chakra drawing can bring havoc for both, the performer and the beneficiary. Thus, utmost understanding and reverence are required to perform the Shri Chakra pooja. We at Kallur Mana ask the beneficiary to observe minimum 7 days fasting, abstaining from tamasic food and routine before doing the kriya.
At Kallur Mana, we consider the Shri Chakra Pooja not as a professional service but as a responsibility towards the Devi.
